Lodi Wisconsin is home to Susie the Duck. You will find all the locals have wonderful and colorful stories that go with Susie. In 1948 a Duck found a home in a flower basket. One of the ducklings was named Susie by the police chiefs granddaughter and came back to the same location every year. The people of Lodi grew to love these ducks so much they started celebrating her every year with a Susie the Duck Day, Saturday, August 8th, where you can race duck down the creek. This day is wonderful fun for the whole family.
The City of Lodi, meaning peaceful valley, was incorporated November 6, 1941 and is located in the heart of scenic south central Wisconsin, Columbia County. The City is situated in a beautiful valley among gently rolling hills near the Wisconsin River.
